Education
I graduated with an Advanced Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in December of 2017. Before that I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Appalachian Bible College in 2010, with a major in Bible and Theology.
Experience
My experience of tutoring has been in both Hebrew and German. I have tutored various people for the past four years on a regular basis, mainly in Biblical Hebrew. My German knowledge is only self taught and pretty basic. A friend of mine was working on learning German for his Master Degree as a research language, and we met together for two years learning it together using a couple of books, and he was able to pass his proficiency exam. While in seminary, I took a total of eight semesters of Biblical Hebrew. This included four semesters: two of basic, one of syntax, and one of exegesis. Then I took another four on on poetry, historical grammar, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Biblical Aramaic. I also took several classes of Biblical Greek. These include two semesters of basic, and then a syntax class, one on textual criticism, and one on the Septuagint. I have also done a lot of teaching over the past twelve years with various ages. Although I can teach any age, most of my experience has been with ages 8 through 18, between teaching Sunday school, Awana, and Bible camp.

I enjoy spending time with my family, studying the Bible, hiking, camping, reading, occasional video games, and learning new languages.
